Pets Inc Adopt-A Pal in West Columbia - Yahoo Search
Brundage founded Pets, Inc. in West Columbia in 1992 with Patricia McQueen.
I have been a client of West Columbia Animal Clinic since 1995. I appreciate Dr. Hallman's focus on preventative medicine such as weight management and dental care. Whether I am calling to make an appointment or ask a question, Margaret, Nina or Jennifer always provide prompt, courteous service. West Columbia Animal Clinic has been a part of my family's life for almost 20 years. I would not trust the care of my pets to anyone other than Dr. Hallman and her staff.
Heading toward Lexington on U.S. 1, Pets Inc. is just past Interstate 26 in West Columbia. Turn right on Woodside Parkway just after the "Frontage Road" sign. Take the first right onto Orchard Street. Pets Inc. is one-quarter of a mile on the left.

My first experience with PETS Inc. was 7 years ago when my mom and I adopted a sweet little girl named Charm. She was 6 when we adopted her and she'd not had an easy life. But Charm was such a sweet girl and was there for our family whenever we needed to smile. Sadly, she passed away in November, 2010. When my husband and I were ready to bring another four legged child into our family, we both immediately thought of PETS, Inc. We entered and were given a sponsored adoption of our newest baby, Badger. Technically, Badger's not a baby as he's 14 years old but he's precious and I treasure his presence in our family. PETS Inc. is an amazing place and provides a much needed 2nd (or 3rd or 4th) chance for pets who haven't found their forever homes yet. They provide such a wonderful and caring environment to rehabilitate dogs and cats if needed. They have a fantastic fostering system. They're just an all around amazing place. The main thing they're lacking is money. They're a non-profit organization that depends on donations and, unfortunately with the economy, PETS Inc. has taken more of a hit and they're ability to help pets that have been thrown out or abandoned has decreased. We, as a society and Columbia as a city, need MORE places like PETS Inc. Until we get more, though, PETS Inc. is a beacon of hope for so many souls, not just animals but people, like my family, who wouldn't be complete without them.Pets Inc. does not euthanize animals, so the only way for spots to open up is if animals are adopted. Adam and Ashley Smith, a newlywed West Columbia couple, came in to Pets Inc. looking to adopt a playmate for their previously adopted dog, Baker.Animal overpopulation, a tumbling economy and a decrease in adoptions has created a problem for nonprofit animal shelters like Pets Inc. in West Columbia.
