Since all Lucky Paws pets are ready and eager to go home, there will be no reserve holds placed on animals; animals go home same day.
Whiskers Pet Rescue would like to thank Dr. Robinson of the Newtown Veterinary Hospital for the love and care she has shown "Lucky" since he was rushed to the emergency room of the Newtown Veterinary Hospital.
Whiskers Pet Rescue in Southbury is a non-profit charity made up entirely of volunteers committed to caring for animals who have been abandoned, injured, abused or neglected. The non-profit organization is accepting donations for "Lucky"--a cat from Bristol who was attacked by a cruel human. "Lucky" has been through a harrowing ordeal and a 12 hour rescue by a team of animal rescuers--led by Caroline Abate-- that were nothing short of amazing.

Lucky Ones Rescue, Inc. is a Flordia non-profit corporation dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of unwanted homless pets. We have no shelter facility. All of our animals are placed in foster homes until they are adopted.Lucky Paws Rescue has been rescuing pets from high kill shelters for over 6 years. We've saved more than 3000 dogs and cats from euthanasia and found them new, loving homes. When a pet enters our program, we do everything necessary to get to know the animal so we can work out any issues and match it to the right family. Every animal has the right home out there.
Lucky Paws was established in CA in 2008. We later moved to Oregon in 2011 and incorporated here, where we currently continue helping animals in need. We primarily work with shepherds, collies and herding breeds, but we'll help any life in danger. Lucky Paws primarily takes dogs from shelters, in danger of being euthanized, after being labeled un-adoptable. There are many reasons for this label, including simple medical issues, but shelters do not have the funds to care for the animals. Lucky You! Animal Rescue is a foster-based rescue, meaning we do not have a location or shelter. We do meet and greets a local petstores and if comfortable for both parties, at foster parents' homes. We frequent the following store locations:The list below provides an individual profile and pictures of each of our Lucky Dogs!
