Lobsters are not good pets. Please don't have a lobster as a pet. I beg you.
Skunks make good pets for the right owner, as they require a lot of attention, a healthy, varied diet and plenty of supervision. Get a pet skunk spayed or neutered, also having its scent glands removed, for a wonderful and intelligent pet with information from a wildlife caregiver and rehabilitator in this free video on skunks.

Despite my very wide interests (my career with animals has, quite literally, spanned ants to elephants!), I’ve always been partial to newts and salamanders. I focused on them from my earliest days working for the Bronx Zoo, and had the good fortune to author two books on their care and breeding. As pets and zoo specimens, they range from nearly impossible to keep to being among the longest lived of all captive herps (to age 50+, for the Fire and Japanese Giant Salamanders). The following points, drawn from a lifetime of working with these wonderful creatures in zoos, the field, and at home, are useful to consider before embarking on your amphibian-keeping venture.
10 Reasons Raccoons Don't Make Good Pets
But do they make good pets? It depends on whom you ask.
Hamsters are good pets I've had one before. I'm thinking about getting one more because there so easy to look after and there cheep. Hamsters are not good for children under 6. I have a friend that breeds them and he says that there very easy to breed so unless you what baby's keep males and females apart also don't put two males together because they will fight once my cousins hamster almost died. So I would recommend a hamster as a pet.Snakes are very good pets to have. If you establish a bond with them then they will be very easy to play with as they will wrap around your hand whilst you watch telly or walk around the house however, if you don't feed it for too long then it will be more likely to become aggressive and if you don't hold it regularly enough then it may bite.Excellent pets, if you choose the right species. Corn snakes are amazing: they come in over 50 morphs, are extremely docile, and all around require low care and skill. Fascinating, brilliant creatures, many good species. You can level up to more complicated ones after gradual experience, and engage in the wonders of these horribly misunderstood animals. No! Please, never ever get an exotic pet! Arctic foxes deserve good habitats, and the only place fit for them is their natural habitat...the Arctic Circle! It is animal abuse to get one, not to mention illegal, inconsiderate, and flat-out crazy! If they get lost, they are a very dangerous to other pets, small humans, and their own selves! If you really want an Arctic fox, get a dog that acts/feels/looks like Arctic foxes!
